However, with today’s increase in crime rate, it is even more important to keep an ‘eye’ on suspicious people and behaviour in the suburbs in order to keep crime levels to a minimum.

This we did by consolidating our Partnership with both SAPS and Allsound and creating the HRF Members CrimeWatch group. A key component is the deployment of an integrated CCTV camera network at strategic and known entry and exit points used by potential criminals solely for the benefit of HRF CrimeWatch members.

This has proved hugely successful to the extent that we now have one of the lowest levels of crime in the whole Greater Knysna area and virtually no crime for CrimeWatch members.
