Q. The CCTV cameras provide a proactive solution to Crime. They are monitored and help to prevent criminals from operating in our area. Who owns and maintains these cameras?

A. Probably Allsound as they have their logo on them. WRONG. The 30 cameras are owned and maintained by the NEIGHBOURHOOD WATCH (NHW) in partnership with the gated estates.

Q. Who pays for the CCTV Cameras?

A. YOUR NEIGHBOURS, who are Members of the NHW. They contribute each year (R690 for 2022). This pays for monitoring, maintenance and replacement of the cameras.
